Cheap DD-WRT Capable Wireless Routers
This page contains my recommendation of inexpensive wireless routers which can run DD-WRT firmware. DD-WRT firmware is loaded with features. Router running DD-WRT Firmware can be used as wireless bridge, to setup a wireless router to wireless router link. Wireless router to wireless router connecting is useful to bring Internet to remote devices which do not have wireless capability. These wireless Routers with DD-WRT can also used as WDS (Wireless Distribution System) to extend Wireless Range of your home network.
Routers in the list below meet or exceed following requirement features.
- Support DD-WRT FW
- Have at least 100Mbps LAN port switch. (Gigabit LAN is always better)
- Inexpensive, shouldn’t cost more that $100.
- Support 802.11G , 803.11N support is preferred.
If the router supports USB port to connected a USB printer or USB Storage it will be highlighted.
